Who we are

JobLookout is a job list built from openings posted on company career pages. You can filter that list and open the employer site to apply. Questions about this policy go to support.joblookout@gmail.com.

Account information

Sign-in uses Google. We receive the name, email address, and profile photo Google shares for that sign-in, and we store them with your account through Supabase. You need an account to save preferences, keep a resume, and buy a plan.

What you add to the product

If you finish setup, we store the job preferences you choose: functions, countries, work mode, experience level, and employment type. We also store resume text and files you upload or edit, roles you like, hide, or mark applied, and applications you add yourself.

Copilot and the resume tools send the text you submit — such as a resume, a job description, or a chat message — to a model provider (OpenRouter or OpenAI) so it can return a draft. Review that draft before you use it. We do not use your resume to train a model of our own.

Payments

Paid plans are checked out with Creem, the merchant of record. Creem processes the card payment, tax, and receipt. JobLookout does not store your card number. We keep the plan you bought, when a monthly plan renews, and the customer and subscription identifiers Creem sends us, so we can turn access on and off.

Site use

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel Analytics records page views so we can see which public pages are used. Sign-in uses a session cookie so you stay logged in. We do not sell personal information.

Who processes it

• Supabase stores accounts, preferences, resumes, and job activity.
• Google handles the sign-in you start.
• Creem processes payments and receipts.
• OpenRouter or OpenAI generates the AI drafts you request.
• Vercel hosts the site and collects page-view analytics.

How long we keep it

We keep account, resume, and preference data while your account exists, and billing records for as long as we need them to provide the plan and answer a payment question. Email support.joblookout@gmail.com to ask us to delete your account. We will delete the profile, resume, and saved job activity we hold, except records we must keep for a payment dispute or a legal duty.

Children

JobLookout is a job-search product for adults. We do not aim it at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be on this page with a new date. The Terms of Service cover the paid plans.
